Laminated Press Pit Panel Floor Block Specifications
• Laminated Pecan Hickory Press Pit Floor Blocks are fabricated using the methods and components listed below.
• Panels are constructed of Hickory Pecan lumber, using 8/4, 6/4, 5/4, 4/4 thickness. No splices are allowed in either the thickness or length of finished panel. Lumber is Kiln dried to 8% moisture content prior to manufacturer.
• Adhesive is straight urea resin type in accordance with requirements of FS MMM-A-188C and will develop sheer strength at joint of 2800 P.S.I. Panels are clamped together with controlled pressure and tied securely with 1/2" diameter steel bolts 6" from each end. Conforming to SAEJ429 and ASTM A 563. Bolts in panel will be perpendicular to the span and bolt heads are countersunk.
• After adhesive has set, blocks are to be machined to within the following tolerances:

• Finished panels shall be free of warpage, excessive shrinkage or swelling, delamination, splitting, or checking of wood members. Blocks are to be palletized for forklift unloading so as to expedite handling.
• No Silicone products are used in the manufacturing of floor panels.
