End Grain Wood Block Pavers were first used to pave streets and bridges in the late 1800's and was the paving of choice in America's largest cities.  In the early 1900's with the advent of the industrial revolution they became widely used as a heavy-duty flooring surface in factories.  Industrial Wood Block flooring is durable, long wearing and comfortable to work on.  Many floors in old factories are still in use today, some as old as 80 years or more.  Several streets and bridges in the United States also still exist today that were paved with End Grain Wood Pavers and preserved as historic landmarks, two of these being in Cleveland Ohio.
